Harvest Day
Alice has always loved her grandfather\s old farm. She spent her childhood summers there, helping in the garden, feeding the animals, and following Grandpa around with Marko. When they return years later, the farm is quiet and overgrown. The old tools are rusty, the garden needs work, and the animals are waiting for some attentionAlice and Marko decide to bring the farm back to life. They repair the tools, clear the garden, plant new vegetables, and take care of the animals. Marko still carries the little coins their grandfather gave him when they were young. As they work, they remember the simple days they spent here and all the little lessons Grandpa taught them. By the end of the day, the farm looks completely different. Fresh vegetables are growing, the animals are happy, and the old garden is full of life again. Alice and Marko realize that their grandfather was right about one thing: nothing tastes better than something you grew yourself.
